QUALITY ENHANCEMENT PROJECT

QEP is a pilot project that provides support and funds to a select group of T.E.A.C.H. Early Chldhood® NEBRASKA participants who are interested in improving the quality of their early childhood programs.  A mentor, in partnership with the family child care provider, teacher or director utilizes the results of an independently administered Environment Ratings Scale as a foundation for program improvement.  The participant and the mentor create a plan, based on the rating scales, to purchase materials and/or provide training to improve the quality of their program.
