QUALITY ENHANCEMENT PROJECT
The goal of the QEP projects is to improve quality in early childhood settings through assessment, coaching, supplies and training. NeAEYC’s QEP project is currently available in east central Nebraska, Lincoln, and Omaha.
Teachers and family child care providers work closely with one of NeAEYC’s Special Project Coordinators to assess the current status of their program, work together to develop a Quality Improvement Plan, decide which toys/classroom supplies to purchase, identify training and information to provide support, and re-assess toward the end of the project year.
QEP projects are available based on funding. Current funders are ARRA funding, Lincoln Community Foundation, Woods Charitable Fund, Building Bright Futures, and a sub-contract with Community Action Partnership of Lancaster and Saunders Counties.
